The Passage To Flight

            THE PASSAGE TO FLIGHT

  Every emotion
  is a wing in disguise.

  Anger — a storm wind.
  In its gusts,
it fuels the courage to act,
  the strength to rise.

  Grief — a silent teacher.
  It folds us inward,
  presses us to the earth,
  makes us kneel.
In its weight we learn how to bow,
  and how to rise again
  on wings of remembrance.

Love is already a wing —
  It lifts everything it touches,
  carrying us
  beyond ourselves.

  Fear, when faced,
  sharpens the senses —
  a vigilance that, once softened,
  becomes clarity,
  guiding us toward
  where we must go.

  To feel deeply
is to find the wings within.
  Moving through feelings
until they soften into light —
  that is
  the passage to flight.

I Met A Merman

This poem is a celebration of my muse—his magical presence stirs my soul and inspires my heart. My creativity blossoms as I embrace his presence with gratitude and awe.

Your Bass Notes

In this poem about my first love I draw on my love of nature, comparing his deep voice to the crow’s caw and the Earth’s rumble, to portray the spellbinding effect he had on me.

Forever Love

Ever felt so consumed by a relationship that you lost yourself?

This poem is my story of that journey, and the painful path to finding my way back.

What does the "slow road through the heart" mean to you?

The Secret Life of the Coconut Tree

A quiet walk beneath the coconut palms became something more.

What began as a simple noticing turned into a slow and tender unfolding—of coconuts, of drawings, of reflections on letting go.

My Little Thief..

Sometimes, love arrives in the smallest package, and leaves the biggest space behind.
Zen came to me with a mission only he quite understood — and in fulfilling it, he restored me.
This is a tribute to the soft wonder he was.
